About me

Hernane is a circus artist from Brazil. He has been practising circus arts for over twelve years now. He started his circus journey practising silks, along the way he also learnt the basics of static trapeze, hoop and rope. On his third year as a circus practitioner he met the straps and since then he has been devoting most of his time to the straps practice.

Hernane started working with circus performing at events in Brazil, such as parties, public events and schools. He also taught a silks course in Brazil and workshops in Brazil and in Hungary. In 2014 he joined the entertainment team of TUI, where he worked as a performer and fitness instructor at hotels in Greece and Egypt for three and a half years.

In 2018 Hernane got accepted to study a bachelor in circus arts at Codarts, in Rotterdam, Netherlands. He spent the last 4 years there specializing in aerial straps and joining rope classes as a second discipline. At Codarts he also learnt contemporary dance, ballet, theater, acrobatics, handstand and more.

Currently he is graduated. He spent the last year of the course working on his graduation act "Procura". He is also teaching private straps and a silks course at the Circus Studio in Rotterdam.
